School of Hypotherapy

Course Outline
This is a Modular course which is designed to deliver face-to-face training which is both practical and theoretical with a seamless transition from fundamental principles to advanced techniques. The course consists of several modules, all of which are delivered face-to-face and the assessment is continuous throughout the course and includes some written assignments, wider reading, but most importantly practical experience.

  • Developing Client Rapport
  • Ethical Considerations
  • Symptomatic and Analytic Hypnotherapy
  • Parts Therapy & Regression
  • Fears & Phobia
  • Anxiety & Stress
  • Pain Management
  • Eating Disorders
  • Addictions (eg Smoking Cessation)
  • Hypnotherapy as a Business
  • Current Developments (Mindfulness/NLP/EMDR)
Our courses take place in Canterbury, Tunbridge Wells, Headcorn and a London location with various options on dates available throughout the year.

However each course consists of at least 10 intermittent weekends and 450 guided hours.

£1,150 per person. Please note that this price does not include tailored tuition or tutorials within a tailored diploma.
To enjoy this promotional price, a deposit of £250 would be required upon booking, course costs without a deposit would £1,500 per person.

Admissions Criteria & Procedure
To be eligible, you must be over 21 and have a good standard of written and spoken English; as written assignments are part of the assessment strategy.
All potential trainees are expected to attend a brief interview and are required to complete a brief assignment as part of the interview process.
You will also need to have access to a PC and be ICT literate as assignments are expected to be submitted electronically.
We are looking for excellent therapists and not necessarily academics, so you should not be concerned if you have not experienced a class environment for any length of time!

The Trainers
Tess Walker & Jon Brown are both highly experienced and well-respected UK Teacher/Trainers within Education generally, but have spent the last 4 years specialising in Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapy, Mindfulness & Life Coaching.
